About Tim Mattox
I've always participated in the creation of art, in many different forms throughout my life. Summers in my early childhood were spent coloring freehand, completing paint-by-numbers kits or making crafts. And yes, most of the time, I did stay within the lines which probably contributes to my linear style of today. I have painted and continue to paint in oil, acrylics and pastels. Additionally, photography has played an important role in my life as well. Starting with my first box camera (viewfinder in the top of the camera), through instamatics, 35mm and polaroids, and finally to digital, I have been an early adopter in the ever changing world of photography. Painting and photography will continue to fulfill the creative urge of my life...

It had the same effect on me Eric when I found this in my portfolio from a NY trip in 2000. We actually went up on top of the WTC and took pictures during this trip. It is all so surreal..... never forget! Thanks for your comments.

wow... here we have a flag forever at half mast.... (bowed my head and closed my eyes for more than a silent moment) . . . the clouds are magical... if I had the answers I would give them.... but I have to just say thank you for sharing this beautifully symbolic shot... God Bless NY...but most of all God Bless America... Some have not forgotten.... I wouldnt be honest if I didnt tell you when I focused on this shot... I gasped for air... because I knew it was real...
