About Tim Mattox

Tim Mattox

I've always participated in the creation of art, in many different forms throughout my life. Summers in my early childhood were spent coloring freehand, completing paint-by-numbers kits or making crafts. And yes, most of the time, I did stay within the lines which probably contributes to my linear style of today. I have painted and continue to paint in oil, acrylics and pastels. Additionally, photography has played an important role in my life as well. Starting with my first box camera (viewfinder in the top of the camera), through instamatics, 35mm and polaroids, and finally to digital, I have been an early adopter in the ever changing world of photography. Painting and photography will continue to fulfill the creative urge of my life...
